Ju-Ju-Be BeOrganizedΒ

Everyone knows I adore Ju-Ju-Be. That is no secret! The diaper bags are machine washable, stylish, and keep me organized as a Mom which is especially important to me. Organization and I are best friends so to find out they would be releasing a new product called the BeOrganized made my heart skip a beat!

The first thing I did was test pack all the bags and figure out which would be best for my daily needs. I soon came to the realization that they also work wonderfully for travel. I always tell people Ju-Ju-Be really does work for babies and beyond. No matter where you go, Ju-Ju-Be travels!

The large piece measures 6″H x 10″W x 3″D and is the perfect piece for my cloth diapers. I can easily fit two diapers, wipes, and a wet bag. I also see this size as a perfect way to store extra clothes if you have multiple kids.

The medium piece is the best for print placement because of its height. You really get such a generous portion of fabric to show off your favorite characters. It measures 5″H x 5″W x 7″D and I feel is the most versatile piece. We are a family of snackers so this size is perfect for our granola bars, raisins, fruit snacks, and more. I don’t use disposable diapers but have seen that they fit quite beautifully and also see myself using these for toys for both of my girls.

The small piece is my favorite measuring in at 4.5″H x 4.5W x 1.5″D. I always have little items in my bag that need to be kept together and easily accessible. The uses are endless. It fits my cloth wipes perfectly, a wonderful size for a mini med kit, and I’ve been adoring it for my portable chargers and cables.

Just like your already beloved JuJuBe bags the BeOrganized is Teflon treated and machine washable. The mesh allows you to easily see what you have stored inside. Raise your hand if that’s perfect for your husband searching through your bags trying to find what you’ve asked for? The BeOrganzied will come in Black Diamond, The Admiral, The Duchess, and select tokidoki prints on 9/13/2016 for only $35. What would you use each piece for?

Wipes Case Review and Giveaway!

Before becoming a Mother I would of laughed if someone told me about the amount of ways to store and organize wipes. Now as a  Mother of two I realize wipes are the bomb. Used for EVERYTHING and anything. These soft cases are ways to store wipes bought in bulk and bring with you on the go. I like each one for different reasons and believe each woman may have a different favorite so I shared below my likes and dislikes for all three!

Huggies Clutch N Clean

Likes

  • Grab handle with snap to attach to stroller.
  • Can fit a very large amount of wipes.
  • Inexpensive and often free when purchasing bulk box of wipes. (Between $4-$6 when purchased alone depending on store)
  • Easily found locally in stores.
  • Cute prints and new ones come out.
  • Wipes come out so easily. The hole under the flip top lid is larger than WIPOUCH and I prefer it larger.

Dislikes

  • Handle can’t be removed.
  • Does not fit easily in a JuJuBe large set piece.
  • The plastic quality is not as great as the others. Some have had experiences of breaking. I have several and haven’t had that problem yet.
  • Doesn’t feel as stylish or sleek.

Buti-Pod

Likes

  • I love the simplicity and that the clear ones can match all my bags.
  • The ability to easily make or purchase a cover in numerous prints.
  • They have released new prints in pink, blue, and gorgeous neutral leaves.
  • They also bitty buti-pod for face wipes and nose wipes that I keep in my restaurant bag.
  • Can fit in my JuJuBe large set piece.
  • Can be purchased on Amazon.
  • Reasonably priced. ($12.99 for two, free shipping on Amazon Prime)

Dislikes

  • I did have one rip after several months of use BUT customer service was outstanding.
  • Not as easy to refill the wipes.
  • I have to get the wipes out before I change baby and have ready to go. There is no flip top and more difficult to get out one handed.

WIPOUCH

Likes

  • Grab handle that can be removed.
  • Super easy to refill.
  • Flip top lid so wipes are easily dispensed.
  • Gorgeous and stylish prints such as floral, owls, and stripes.
  • Very compact and lightweight.
  • Can fit in my JuJuBe large set piece easily.

Dislikes

  • Shipping can take awhile so must have patience.
  • Expensive. ($20.00 AUD *$14.96 USD* plus shipping from Australia. It ends up being $28.43 USD for two) BUT I have seen lately that a few small boutiques are carrying these. Shipping and cost will decrease due to this.
  • I find the wipes come out easier on the Huggies Clutch n Clean due to smaller hole on this one.

For me personally I love the Huggies Clutch n Clean in my car bags or for long days or weekends away because of how much it holds. Buti Pod and WIPOUCH have larger capacity cases that I just haven’t tried yet. I do love Buti Pods smaller case for face wipes when I’m bringing just my restaurant kit in. The WIPOUCH is my go to for small and powerful. When I need to pack as little as possible that’s what I reach for due to it being so compact. Which case do you like best?

I am thrilled to announce one of my lucky readers will be winning a WIPOUCH essentials set. It includes the smaller pouch that holds 20 and the larger one that holds 60! Enter below and good luck.

My Top 6 Breastfeeding Must Haves

Happy World Breastfeeding Week! A week to encourage breastfeeding and celebrate its beauty. This is a bitter sweet post for me. My Daughter Lillian has just recently self weaned. I’m relieved that it was a painless transition but I miss those close snuggles. My first refused to nurse and I exclusively pumped. Lillian was very different.

When we first brought her home she would not wake. I had to pump and feed her with a syringe. Within time she was more alert but never took a bottle even if you tried. I was her fuel source and only me. That’s the way she wanted it.

The first few weeks of nursing can be tiring and painful. I know that’s hard to hear but that is the truth. Funny thing is I don’t remember those struggles now that she’s done. I just have positive and amazing memories. I dealt with mastitis and overproduction but found these products really helped!

1.)   Lansinoh TheraPearl 3-in-1 Hot or Cold Breast Therapy, 2 Count

Ladies, these things are amazing! When I pumped in the morning I would use them warm to get the milk flowing. If I was in pain due to latch or teeth using them cool was oddly refreshing. I have recommended these to so many friends.

2.)  Earth Mama Angel Baby Non GMO Natural Nipple Butter Nursing Cream, Lanolin Free, 2 Ounce

Babies have to learn how to latch. Sure sure breastfeeding is natural but it is a learning curve for baby and Mom. This cream went with me everywhere the first few weeks.

3.)  Ju-Ju-Be Legacy Nautical Collection Fuel Cell Insulated Bottle and Lunch Bag, The Admiral

Did you think I could have a post and not include JuJuBe? The fuel cell was what I used to carry my manual pump when out of the house. With Lillian I only pumped occasionally so my big pump stayed at home. The fuel cell held my manual, a few bottles, all my parts, and a snack or two for me!

4.)  The First Years Breastflow Milk Storage Organizer

Lily didn’t drink from a bottle but I did pump and donate over 1,000 ounces to a local little one. I love being organized in every aspect of life. Even keeping my pumped frozen milk organized by date was helpful to me! My best recommendation for pumping Moms.

5.)  Clip-itz Nursing Cover Clips (Black Paisley & Gray/White Chevron)

Nursing in public can be scary. It’s truly intimating the first few times. For me I wasn’t comfortable at first to not use a cover. But I hated packing a specific nursing cover because they took up space I needed for my important things. Like chocolate for me! These clips attached right to her blanket and I could nurse away. Take off and the blanket can be used as usual or as a car seat cover to block the sun while walking around downtown. Now that she’s done nursing I use these to clip toys to strollers or her pacifier so she can’t toss it! Very useful nursing and beyond.

6.)  Undercover Mama Black and White Nursing Tank Set – Perfect for Breastfeeding, S

Eventually I got brave and didn’t need or want a cover. These tanks are incredible! They attach to your nursing bra and when you nurse you barely show an inch of skin because your stomach is covered and your normal shirt covers your chest. I used these almost every day. So many beautiful colors. And they really compress your mommy tummy so gave me some extra confidence right after delivery.

All of these products I have used and loved. They are packed away and ready when or if number three blesses the Trader family.

I have to sneak in the beautiful breastfeeding photos I got done a few days before Lillian turned one. Happy Breastfeeding Week! Have you tried any of these products? What are your recommendations to others?

Disclosure: This post does include Amazon affiliate links. I may make a small percentage if you purchase but I fully stand by and have personally used these items! Thank you for your support.

Expos and trade shows, and conventions, oh my!

I’ve done it. I’ve attended my first MommyCon and it was an experience to say the least. On July 23, 2016 I met some incredible men and women at MommyCon DC. I was there to work the JuJuBe booth, introduce the brand and features to those unfamiliar with the awesomeness, and interact with those who were already in love. And let me tell you that the love for these diaper bags was unmistakable. It was a sea of JJB. A few hours in I decided I had to take pictures. I just had to capture it and I will let those photos do the talking…

Look at all the different bag choices. It was wonderful to see which bag worked for each parent. My only regret was not capturing photos earlier in the day! I had such a wonderful time meeting you all and can’t wait to do it again soon.
